Focusing on superimposing the Trojan war on conflicts throughout history, the play is layered with women’s experience of conflict from Troy to one of the most harrowing conflicts of our time – Gaza. Despite their oppression, we see into the hearts and minds of these women and their children, their dignity, their pain, their loss and their love, as the collateral damage of men’s war and greed.
