With Asma Hashmi, Printmaker

A hands-on printmaking workshop exploring blind embossing using an etching press, a technique that creates raised, textured designs on paper without using ink.

Using an etching press. participants will press designs into thick, dampened paper, leaving behind beautifully tactile impressions that play with light and shadow.

Inspired by Museum artefacts and images, participants will design and emboss their own unique prints using simple materials such as textured objects, stencils, and hand-cut shapes.

You’ll take home a series of striking, embossed artworks.

No prior experience is needed, just a willingness to experiment with form and texture!

Blind Embossing

This event is part of our Connect & Collaborate season of events.
