Thames Valley Chinese New Year 2026 Qi Gong, Tai Chi & Kung Fu Gathering

Thames Valley’s vibrant community of Qi Gong, Tai Chi,  and Kung Fu schools have come together once again to offer 16 taster sessions.

You are warmly invited to celebrate Chinese New Year 2026, the year of the Fire Horse, through a day of taster sessions in Chinese traditional martial arts and health cultivation practices, offered by a friendly community of dedicated clubs in the Thames Valley (Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire & Berkshire – see https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100079021308282 for more info on this community and individual clubs).

Try the styles, meet the teachers and practitioners in each club, and enjoy these ancient mind-body and self-defence traditions.

Yin Room:

Soft, slow, balanced and meditative practice.

Yang Room:

Fast and/or strong, intense and vibrant practice.

All sessions are for adults, 16 years +

Please check the detailed session timetable and select your preferred session number ticket: 1/2/3/4/5/6/7 or even 8 sessions/all day!

You can mix and match Yin and Yang room sessions

P LEASE MAKE SURE TO STATE WHICH SESSIONS YOU WANT TO JOIN WHEN BOOKING, or your preferences may not be guaranteed – Please email daoshuoxford@gmail.com to identify which specific classes you wish to attend after ordering.

First come first served – when a particular session reaches full capacity this will be shown on the timetable.

Ticket Options:

You can choose to attend one, two, three, four or more sessions (even train all day!) of qi gong, tai chi or kung fu. Feel free to mix up yin and yang, soft and hard, fast and slow. The more sessions you select, the cheaper per-session price.

When booking tickets, please state clearly which classes you want to attend, so we can protect your place.
