SUMMARY:Incarcerating Eve
DESCRIPTION:Eve has existed since the dawn of humanity\, every woman\, every age\, every struggle. She is the indigenous woman\, the pregnant teenager\, the survivor\, the accused witch\, the silenced voice blamed for humanity’s fall. \nAcross history\, Eve has been oppressed and condemned\, but no more. She is awakening as the original Mother Goddess\, Inanna: creator\, nurturer\, and keeper of wisdom. Eve’s rise is what the world needs now\, if only we can free her. \nPowerful and provocative\, Mandala Theatre’s new play Incarcerating Eve confronts the devastating effects of suppressing the Feminine on families\, society\, and the natural world — and offers a bold vision of renewal and hope. \nAge guidance: 14+ \nMandala Theatre 10th Anniversary Double Bill\nIncarcerating Eve will also be performed at The North Wall on Wednesday 15 April as a double bill alongside Trojan Women by Karim Alrawi\, performed by Mandala Young Company. Click here to find out more. \n\n\n\n\nIncarcerating Eve\n16 April 2026 – 1:00 pm\n16 April 2026 – 7:30 pm\n17 April 2026 – 7:30 pm\nTicketsStandard: £16\nPay More: £20\nPay Less: £12 \nLinksMandala Theatre

SUMMARY:Mandala Theatre 10th Anniversary Double Bill
DESCRIPTION:To mark their 10th anniversary\, Oxford-based theatre company and North Wall Creative Associates Mandala Theatre present a double bill of new work: \nTrojan Women by Karim Alrawi\nPerformed by Mandala Young Company \nThe Trojan Women is one of the most powerful indictments of war ever written. In this new version Karim Alrawi gives the play a twenty-first century lens. Focusing on superimposing the Trojan war on conflicts throughout history\, the play is layered with women’s experience of conflict from Troy to one of the most harrowing conflicts of our time – Gaza. Despite their oppression\, we see into the hearts and minds of these women and their children\, their dignity\, their pain\, their loss and their love\, as the collateral damage of men’s war and greed. Mandala Young Company turn this classic drama into a moving and relevant story exploring the humanity\, dignity and courage of women and children in impossible situations. \nIncarcerating Eve by Yasmin Sidhwa\nPerformed by Mandala Theatre Company \nEve has existed since the dawn of humanity\, every woman\, every age\, every struggle. She is the indigenous woman\, the pregnant teenager\, the survivor\, the accused witch\, the silenced voice blamed for humanity’s fall. \nAcross history\, Eve has been oppressed and condemned\, but no more. SUMMARY:Camera Club: Spring 2026 Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:Camera Club is part of The North Wall’s YouthLab programme\, which supports young people aged 12-17 in developing their creative skills alongside professional artists. Every year a group of 6-8 aspiring photographers works with artist Elina Medley to create images using digital SLR cameras and then to curate an exhibition of photography.Last summer they worked in the studio as well as the streets and parks of Oxford to experiment with different subject matter and approaches to image-making. Over four days they built on their technical and creative skills and discovered the subjects they love to photograph. During the October half term\, they immersed themselves in several exhibitions of photography and learnt so much about how to curate their own exhibition. The group are looking forward to one more day of planning in February before they install their group exhibition in the Spring. Come along and meet our latest cohort of wonderful photographers; they will be staffing the gallery during the show. This exhibition takes place at Magdalen Road Studios \n\n\n\n\nCamera Club: Spring 2026 Exhibition\nTicketsFree entry

SUMMARY:A Grain of Sand
DESCRIPTION:Renad\, a young Gazan girl\, embarks on a dangerous journey. Carrying only the echoes of her grandmother’s tales and the spark of her own imagination\, she searches for her family and the ‘Anqaa’ – the mythical Palestinian Phoenix.A Grain of Sand is a one-woman show that takes an intimate look at war through the eyes of a child\, blending Palestinian folklore with real-life testimonies from children in contemporary Gaza.
