The Store

The Store Oxford is easily my favorite place to stay, not just in Oxford but in all of England. The building is beautiful, and the rooftop bar has the best view I’ve ever seen. And HIP (sort of like a more eclectic The Edition?), not stuffy like other luxury hotels. The rooms are spacious and well-kept, which is a huge plus since hotel rooms in England can be on the smaller side. Ps: The A/C is top-notch & the beds are even better. The staff and service is friendly and attentive. The food is amazing. With dishes like deep-fried lasagna and perfectly cooked steak, you don’t even have to leave the hotel to get a great meal. This is my second visit from the U.S. this year. I stayed a whole week this time around, and shamelessly, I’ll be back again.

This is the best thing to happen to Oxford in a very long time. Stunning design, dog friendly and a genuinely warm welcome. The team at The Store made our stay extra special - treats, bowls and a bed for the dog and everything we needed too. The food is exceptional - so full of flavour and beautifully presented. Drinks superb too - make sure you try their own gin … so good. Team were really friendly too, always greeting us and saying hi to our dog, nothing was too much trouble and I hope I get the opportunity to visit again soon.

I have been lucky enough to enjoy a night's stay at this truly incredible, luxurious hotel with the most amazingly friendly and efficient staff. The food is off the scale delicious and the decor, style and ambience was incredible. This was honestly the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at. The spa is perfect and the massage therapist was amazing. Spotless, luxurious bedrooms with the most wonderful attention to detail with the products, complimentary soft drinks and other treats. I can't rate my hotel stay highly enough and I honestly can't wait to come back.

We had a lovely stay at The Store. The rooms are fabulous with the most comfortable beds. The complimentary chocolates and drinks were a lovely touch as well. The location is very handy, being in the centre of Oxford and near the station. While we were there we treated ourselves to a treatment at the spa. The treatments were amazing and the therapists looked after us very well. Would recommend to anyone!

I came with a friend and was served by Josh at the rooftop bar and it was perfect! Our orders were taken swiftly, and the service was really friendly. It seemed like Josh went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and that we enjoyed our drinks and weren't made to wait for too long. The view from the rooftop is also splendid, quite different from the view from the rooftop terrace at Westgate. I was also able to stay in one of the rooms and it was a great size, with all amenities available and was really clean. Location was also really nice as it's very close to some of the colleges and there's lots of other cafes and restaurants nearby.
