The Store

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Store recently and genuinely didn’t want to leave. From the moment we arrived, the team were warm, friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is beautifully styled with so much character and attention to detail. The room was immaculate, and the personalised touches and little comments from the team made us feel truly special. Every meal was delicious, and the service throughout was faultless. The rooftop bar is a fantastic space, whether you want to relax inside or enjoy the view outside. An exceptional stay, I can’t wait to return

Easily my new favorite hotel in Oxford! My partner and I stayed at the Store for our anniversary and I have to say, everything about the experience was first class. First of all the positioning of the hotel in the heart of Oxford made exploring the city very easy. and the staff was very helpful with recommending places to visit while we were there. The room was gorgeous. We had a deluxe super king, which was well worth the extra if not only for the beautiful balcony over looking the the old historic part of Oxford. Also I must say, I'm not usually one for eating at the hotel but the Treadwell restaurant was easily the best meal we had all weekend. I would go back just for dinner. To cap things off, the roof top bar was next level! Enjoying a beautiful martini (using their own signature gin which is now my favorite cocktail) whilst looking out across the city was a wonderful memory and one we will treasure.

We stayed at The Store over the Easter weekend as a family of four (with two children aged 4 and 8), and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We had interconnecting rooms, which were incredible – beautifully designed and ideal for a family stay. Our little ones especially loved the thoughtful touches like the mini gowns, slippers, and chocolates, which made them feel extra special. The location is perfect for exploring Oxford – we enjoyed wandering around the nearby shops and spent a lovely afternoon at the Natural History Museum, which is just a short walk away. We had dinner booked at Treadwell, and the experience was outstanding. The staff could not have done more for us. Everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The children were happily entertained drawing pictures inspired by the beautiful artwork on the walls, giving us a chance to relax and enjoy our meal. I’m still dreaming of the crab tacos, and my husband declared it the best burger he’s ever had! As frequent travellers who stay in a lot of city hotels, I can be quite particular about bed comfort – but The Store gets a solid 10/10. We all slept brilliantly. Breakfast the next morning was just as impressive, with both buffet and à la carte options. The kids loved being able to choose their favourites, and once again, the staff were wonderfully attentive and kind. Thank you so much for such a memorable stay. We’ll definitely be back – and we’re already recommending The Store to all our friends and family.

The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of Oxford, within walking distance of iconic landmarks, shops, and restaurants. It made discovering the city incredibly convenient while still offering a quiet and relaxing environment. The staff were outstanding, always friendly, helpful, and eager to make our stay memorable. Whether it was recommendations for local spots or ensuring we had everything we needed, their hospitality truly stood out. Overall, The Store Hotel exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Oxford!

Back in Feb 25, I brought my partner down for her birthday. And to what she didn’t know was actually my plan to propose to her. In preparation for this, I emailed the hotel in advance for assistance in setting up the perfect proposal. From help with access to their amazing roof top bar, help with arrange flowers, fizz and setting the room up to be just the way I had imagined. A special mention to Mikey for all his help, very professional and helpful before and during. This is just the start of what wonderful staff they have, everyone was made aware showing their communication levels being second to none and paired with all their helpfulness, care and attention to detail, this made our stay a delight. The bedroom was spotless, just like all the facilities including, bar, dining room, gym and spa. Finally to say that the food and drink options were fantastic and a very premium level. The Store should be proud of what business they have become and certainly on your list as the place to stay if you’re visiting Oxford. We most certainly will be making a return anytime we plan to visit Oxford. Thank you very much to the whole team at The Store.
