The White Horse is Oxford’s smallest pub. Squeezed between Blackwell’s bookshop and music shop, the tiny Grade II listed building might be easily missed. The White Horse was owned by Exeter College, opposite on Broad Street, until 1980. With no website, even today the pub is a secret spot!
Both Winston Churchill and Bill Clinton are said to have visited the White Horse and it was a popular filming location for Inspector Morse.
The White Horse is one of the cosiest pubs in Oxford. The snug room at the back is the perfect spot to warm up with a pint on rainy days!
