Easy access to the car park. Clear instructions on how to park and ride using the Ringo app. Great pricing. Maximum of 72hours stay. Buses to the town centre are frequent - make sure you download your receipt on the ringo app to show to the driver. A convenient way to explore Oxford if travelling by car. Alternatively, you could park in Westgate Oxford Car Park.

Thornhill Park and Ride: A Stress-Free Gateway to Oxford City For those seeking a hassle-free and affordable way to explore Oxford, Thornhill Park and Ride is a true lifesaver. Leave your car worries behind and hop on the convenient bus service that whisks you directly into the heart of the city. **Here's why Thornhill Park and Ride shines:** * **Cost-Effective:** Parking rates are significantly cheaper than Oxford City's often-crowded and pricey car parks. * **Stress-Free:** Forget about circling for a parking spot or navigating busy city streets. The park and ride offers a relaxing start to your day. * **Convenient Connections:** Buses run frequently and directly to the city center, ensuring a quick and comfortable journey. * **Ticket Flexibility:** Choose from various ticket options that include both parking and bus travel, catering to your group size. **Minor Points to Consider:** * **Limited Parking:** While the park and ride is a great solution, it may reach capacity during peak times. It's best to arrive early or check for real-time availability. * **Bus Timetables:** Be sure to check the bus timetables to avoid any unexpected delays or missed connections.

Makes getting to/from London super easy. Very cheap for a day/night and always spaces to park. The terminal could do with a bit of a tidy + some vending machines but otherwise, all good and my choice every time instead of the headache of getting the buses from Gloucester Green

A bit complicated. Parked up as strangers to Oxford; wanted a bus into town. The arrangement was low cost (£2-50 for parking and one-and-two-halves return tickets to town centre) and simple in practice....BUT the instructions on the machine were complicated and apparently contradictory. Went inside to see an electronic signboard which said that the next bus woukd be in half an hour. Walked outside to sit down, but the bus was there already. We got on and it departed almost immediately. Bottom line, not user friendly for newcomers. Could do with improved user interfaces.

This has been the least empathetic and coldest experience I have ever had with customer care. I am an NHS staff member and use the free Park & Ride scheme with a valid permit, having surrendered my OUH parking permit as required. Unfortunately, my car broke down and had to be taken to a garage. I informed the relevant teams immediately. During this period, I was using a courtesy car provided by the garage and paid for parking every day without fail. On one occasion, working a late shift, I unintentionally forgot to pay. As soon as I realised, I contacted my workplace transport team, only to discover that a fine had already been issued. I appealed the charge three separate times. Each appeal included additional evidence: email correspondence, proof that my own car was off the road, and confirmation that the vehicle was a courtesy car. Every appeal was rejected within hours, each time using the same impersonal, templated responses, with no acknowledgement of the circumstances or evidence provided. £50 is a significant amount for NHS staff earning only slightly above minimum wage, especially while already facing unexpected car repair costs. Humanity is dead.
