DESCRIPTION:When Your Well Has Run Dry \n\n\n\n\nWhen your well has run dry. \nMinistry is sacred work — and it can quietly drain the soul. \nRooted & Renewed is a half-day renewal and training gathering for Christian ministry volunteers\, pastoral staff\, individuals\, and clergy who are feeling stretched thin\, spiritually depleted\, or simply weary from carrying the weight of serving others. \nIf you love the Church but feel like you’re running on empty\, this event is for you. If you aren’t in any of these positions but feeling run dry\, you are more than welcome to come. \nThroughout the morning\, you’ll experience: \n\nBiblical encouragement for leaders who are tired\nGuided reflection and unhurried space to breathe\nPractical tools for sustainable ministry rhythms\nHonest conversation about burnout and resilience\nPrayer and time to be personally ministered to\n\nIt’s an intentional pause. \nA space to become rooted again in Christ. \nA space to be renewed before returning to the work. \nWho is Your Host? \nLisa Way is a qualified youth worker and seasoned Christian ministry leader with over fifteen years of experience serving the Church both locally and abroad. Since beginning her ministry journey in 2010\, she has carried a deep commitment to making the Gospel of Jesus Christ accessible\, lived\, and transformative for all. \nHer work has spanned youth ministry\, international missions\, and church leadership development. In 2016\, she joined Acorn Christian Healing Foundation as an administrator\, where her dedication\, wisdom\, and vision steadily shaped her path into leadership. Since 2019\, she has served as Director of Operations\, overseeing ministry development and equipping churches and individuals with practical\, Spirit-led skills for Christian ministry — a calling she considers one of her greatest joys. \nLisa has now developed Make Sense after operational changes taking place at Acorn\, and is known for her visionary leadership\, loving training style\, and accessible teaching\, she creates environments where people feel both grounded and empowered. She carries a steady confidence rooted in experience\, but her leadership is marked just as deeply by compassion as it is by competence. \nAt the heart of everything she does is a simple conviction: the Gospel of Jesus Christ is for everyone. Through Rooted and Renewed she brings that same passion — to see people strengthened\, supported\, and reminded that they are deeply rooted in Christ and fully held in His love.
