DESCRIPTION:Be a Better Biker workshops allow riders to take their skills to a level that helps improve safety and enjoyment. For full licence holders. \n\n\n\n\nAbout this event \nBe a Better Biker (BaBB) is designed to give motorcyclists (full licence holders) an introduction to advanced riding. The day covers the principles of advanced riding including: \n• Manoeuvring \n• Overtaking \n• Cornering techniques \n• On-road assessment with observers\, approximately 2 hours \n• A review of the on-road sessions\, discussing lessons learnt \nThere are 8 places available; Workshops will start at 10.00am prompt. Please arrive at 9:30am for coffee and registration and the day will finish by 2.30pm. \nPlease ensure you have a full tank of fuel\, or at least 100 miles worth of fuel\, and bring your own lunch\, though we will provide tea and coffee. \nBe a Better Biker is delivered by: \nThames Vale Advanced Motorcyclists (TVAM) https://www.tvam.org/ \nBuckinghamshire Advanced Riders and Drivers (BARDS) https://www.facebook.com/BucksAdvancedRiders \nMilton Keynes Advanced Motorcyclists (MKAM) mkam.org.uk \nOxford Advanced Motorcyclists (OAM) \nand supported by Local Councils\, Local Fire & Rescue Services and Thames Valley Police. \nIf you wish to cancel your place then we require 7 days notice for a refund \, minus Eventbrite’s fee \nAll participants attending the Be A Better Biker workshops\, do so at their own risk and will take full responsibility for ensuring their motorcycle is in a road worthy condition\, has correct documentation including MOT if required\, Insurance and Tax. The rider has a full driving licence authorising them to ride the category of their bike and is fit to ride. \nBuckinghamshire Council take no responsibility in ensuring these documents are correct or conduct any checks on the participant or their motorcycle.
